Voroina in Thessaloniki 2024.

This is the annual wine tasting and tasting exhibition of the leading wineries of the northern Greek vineyard, which is addressed to the general public, consumers and professionals from the catering and wine trade.
At the exhibition, the public, taking the special wine tasting glass from the entrance, will be able to browse the tables of the Winemakers to discover and taste the richness of the wine-growing Northern Greece, from indigenous and international varieties.
White, rosé, red, even orange, dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet or sweet, calm and sparkling, on newly released or older favorite labels, are just the beginning to start one’s journey to knowledge and enjoyment of the magical world of quality branded Greek wine.

Parallel Program As every year, the exhibition will be framed by a rich and particularly interesting program of parallel proposals: 13:00-15:00 Workshop “Climate crisis – Modern approaches to vine cultivation and winemaking” in collaboration with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Democritus University of Thrace.
16:00-17:00 Winemakers’ Debate “Good wine VS marketing” 19:00-21:00 Masterclass “International varieties grown in Northern Greece VS rest of the world” in collaboration with the Panhellenic Sommelier Association 13:00-21:00 Thematic wine tasting tables: Rare varieties grown in northern Greece vineyard Gold awarded wines from the “Thessaloniki Wine Spirits Trophy” competition Entrance or participation in the parallel program is free of charge, with the general ticket of Vorinoes (with the exception of the masterclass).
Entrance fee The entrance ticket for visitors to VorOina is available:

2. at the secretariat, at the entrance of the event, at the Makedonia Palace Hotel, from 12:30 to 20:30.
   The ticket price is 12€, while for students 8€ (upon presentation of their student ID upon arrival at the event).

The ticket price includes the special wine tasting glass.
The entrance is free for professionals from the field of catering and wine trade, as well as for journalists (with the indication of the business card), where they will receive from the secretariat the discreet bracelet of their status.
“Voroina” is organized by the office of the association “Winemakers of Northern Greece”, for the participation of its members exclusively.
