VorOina in Athens 2024.

The VorWines of Athens, the wine event that has been loved more than any other wine event in Greece, takes place this year at Zappeion Megaron, on Monday, February 5, 2024, from 12 noon to 8 pm.

This is the annual wine and spirits tasting exhibition of the association “Winemakers of Northern Greece”, the leading wineries of the northern Greek vineyard, addressed to the general public, consumers, and professionals from the catering and wine trade.

With a renewed mood and in a new location this year, at Zappeion Megaron, but always with the same joy and anticipation, VorOina will once again unite the fans, friends and friends, of the branded, quality Greek wine.

On the tables of the Winemakers of Northern Greece, the wealth of the vineyard of Northern Greece, from Mount Olympus to Epirus and from there to all of Macedonia.

Dry white wines, blanc de noir, orange, rosé and red, sparkling white, rosé and red, semi-dry, semi-sweet and sweet (natural or natural), single variety or blended, as well as wine spirits up to long-term ageing, are only part of the choices that visitors to the exhibition will taste.

In the best suggestions / Highlights of Vorina:

• Of particular interest will be the wines of the 2023 harvest, which, as is well known, was a demanding wine year, but with excellent results from Northern Greece.

Room 4 – Themed wine tasting tables

Tasting of the awarded best wines per category and special awards, as well as the best spirit, of the 23rd Thessaloniki Wine & Spirits Competition.
We know and taste rare wine varieties cultivated in northern Greece.
The Rosés of Northern Greece are the rosés of our hearts, so we try them at the tables of Vorinoes but also all together at the thematic wine tasting table.
Since ancient times, wine has been part of culture as it has never been absent from social gatherings. VorOina is the social gathering for the wine itself, the public and its creators.

Entrance:

The ticket for the entrance of visitors to VorOina, the public can get it through the Viva platform (more.com by viva) https://www.more.com/happenings/ta-voroina-stin-athina-2024/ valid until 19:30 (on 5/2/24).The cost is 12€ while for students 8€ (upon presentation of student ID upon arrival at the event).

Also, the public will be able to purchase tickets from the entrance of visitors at the secretariat of the event, at a cost of 15€, while for students 10€ (upon presentation of the student ID).

The ticket price includes the collectible wine tasting glass of the event that visitors will receive upon entry. The glass is approved by the OIV (International Organization of Vine & Wine).

Professionals from the field of catering and wine trading, as well as journalists, will receive at the entrance their name tag, while the consumer public, the bracelet with the logo of VorOines.

The event “VorOina” is organized by the office of the association “Winemakers of Northern Greece” for the participation of its members exclusively.
