VOROINA TRAVELS TO ATHENS.

The day that all wine lovers, consumers and professionals from the field of catering and wine marketing are waiting, is set for Monday, January 30, from 12 noon to 8 pm, at the “home” of the Northern Wines, at the Hotel Grande Bretagne, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Athens in Syntagma Square.

This year’s Voroina aspires to be shiny and offer their visitors the opportunity, by touring the tables of the winemakers, to taste the richness of the vineyard of Northern Greece and the varieties cultivated there, on this unique geophysical relief map of the country.

Dry, white, rosé, red, blanc de noir and orange wines, sparkling white, rosé and red, semi-dry, semi-sweet and sweet (natural or natural), monovarietal and in blends, as well as wine spirits up to long ageing, some of the range of Boron wines.

Together, new proposals and trends!

Above all, visitors to Voroina will have the opportunity to meet the creators of the wonderful wines and spirits, which have stood out for years, have loved and choose to enjoy, in celebrations, in personal moments, in toast, in a gift.

At the same time, to be informed about new creations, new labels and styles of wines, the evolution of the harvests of recent years, now in the bottle. To test old crops, to compare the succession between vertical rows or the terroir of a place between horizontal tests.

• 12:00-14:00 “The Rosés of Northern Greece – The Masterclass” with Konstantinos Lazarakis MW (addressed to professionals from the catering, wine and press sector – participation by invitation)
• 18:00-20:00 Final of the Panhellenic Sommelier Competition (free entrance for the public)

The ticket for the entrance of visitors to Voroina, through the Viva platform, is 12€ while for students 8€ (by showing their student ID when attending the event). The possibility to purchase through Viva is valid until the end of the event.
The ticket at the entrance of visitors from the secretariat of the event is 15€, while for students 10€ (upon presentation of their student ID).

The ticket price includes the wine tasting glass of the event where visitors will pick up upon entering.
