The Peloponnese Wine Festival, the wine event of the Peloponnesian Vineyard, comes back to the unique area of the Greek Automobile museum. 42 members-wineries of the Association of Wine Producers Vineyard of Peloponnese give this year their established appointment with Oenophilus public and professionals on Monday 20 January 2020 in the heart of Athens.
The event that gathers the elite of the producers of the Peloponnese enables the public to meet the winemakers, their wines, their experiments, their quests and their new bottlers.
The event will be accompanied by educational and interactive presentations, ‘ 10 minute courses ‘, by the Panhellenic Association of Oenohoon for both professionals and oenophiles.
Yannis Karakassis MW will present a surprise master class ‘ The Enigma Master class ‘ that will include blind tasting.
The audience will have the opportunity to take notes and grade the wines they taste in a simple and easy to use electronic application containing all the wines of the exhibition, my.wine.gr. In this way, the user will be able to find the wines stood out, to grade them and to make his own list of ‘ favourites ‘.
The event will open its doors at 12:00 and will be completed at 20:00. The entrance is set at €5 for the oenophile public while it will be free for professionals in the industry with a demonstration of their professional card. The ticket includes a commemorative wine tasting glass and free entrance to the museum’s premises.
Access: The museum has 500 parking spaces on 4 levels (entrance from Ioulianos and from 3rd September) at a cost of €5.00 per day, and is only 200 meters from the metro station Victoria (line 1).
