Domaine Karanika Winemakers Dinner at Fabrica tou Efrosinou, Athens
The winemaker duo, Laurens Hartman and Annette van Kampen from Domaine Karanika in Amyntaio of Florina in Macedonia will be hosting a seldom winemakers dinner at the restaurant Fabrica tou Efrosinou on November 28.
For the winemaker dinner we will be tasting especially selected biodynamic, handheld Brut Cuvees and red wines of the Xinomavro & Assyrtiko grapes, some wines with age, some wines not yet released and yet some others from magnum bottles.
Chef Giorgos Gatsos have carefully organised a well-paired 5 course menu of Greek local specialities to the wines.
We will start the dinner at 7:30 PM for a first glass of Brut Cuvee followed by dinner. The evening will take-off with a welcome speech by Laurens Hartman, who also will talk and explain on each of the wines and vintages we are to taste during the evening. The evening will round off at approximately 11 pm.
The 5 course menu and the wine list of the paired wine will be posted in the event one of the next days.
