Colares Chitas wine tasting at Oinoscent.

It’s time to share some of the wine gems we keep in Mr Vertigo’s cellar, with an iconic tasting at our favorite oinoscent dedicated to Portugal’s Colares region.

• prephylloxeric vines on sandy soils
• extremely limited production and
• Only 5 wineries that continue the tradition, just 3 kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean.

We taste old vintages of “Colares Chitas”, kept in the cellar of one of the most famous families of winemakers in Colares.

The name Chitas is synonymous with excellent quality wines with high aging potential and is a well-kept secret of wine lovers around the world.

Aged wines from Ramisco and Malvasia, tested for the first time in Greece, will take us to the most unexplored vineyards of the Iberian peninsula.
