5th Rosé Grand Tasting 2024

May 20 | 8€

5th Rosé Grand Tasting 2024 at Makedonia Palace Hotel.

Wine Plus is preparing the 5th Rosé Grand Tasting @Thessaloniki, a truly ‘big’ tasting dedicated exclusively to rosé wines, which will take place on Monday, May 20, 2024, at the Makedonia Palace Hotel.

It is an undeniable fact that a rosé ‘wave’ has overwhelmed the western world! Demand for rosé wines in classic markets remains high, while there is significant growth in new markets. The consumption of rosé has increased worldwide by 25% in the last twenty years. It is estimated that it accounts for 10% of the total consumption of quiet wines worldwide. That is, about 1 in 10 bottles of wine consumed worldwide is a bottle of rosé. Similar to consumption, the market share in rosé wine production has increased to 1 in 10 bottles.

Rosé wine has now surpassed the level of ‘rosé fashion’ and Greek winemakers, similar to their colleagues in the global arena, respond consistently and successfully to the trend by proposing new products, but also refreshing the classics.

Wine Plus, contributing to the consolidation of the rosé trend in Greek society, organizes for the fifth time in Thessaloniki, as a parallel event of the Map of Flavors, the largest tasting of rosé wines in Northern Greece.

Rosé Grand Tasting @Thessaloniki is a contemporary event with the following key features:

  • It is addressed to consumers and professionals alike
  • It is a free-tasting event.
  • 120 rosé wines participate.
  • It is framed by a program of parallel events.

The 5th Rosé Grand Tasting @Thessaloniki is an event not to be missed!
