The program of the festival consists of frequent activities related to wine events in the city of Naoussa and the wider areas, tastings of the place and excursions to the endless vineyards.

“Xinomavro matures in the arms of our river” – Wine tasting

Lifting of xinomavro wine bottles that had sunk in the river of Arapitsa at the 1st Harvest Festival in 2021 and tasting.

A journey through the history and world of Wine
– Guided tour of Aristotle’s School – meeting point
– Music concert: Natasa Pavlidou and her quintet will dress up the event musically, with melodies that we have all loved. Songs from the jazz of the 30s until today, always with the characteristic aesthetics of the band. A journey through the times of Billie Holiday, by Frank Sinatra that will lead to swing covers of modern Greek and foreign songs. Of course, their presentation will not miss the soul element, with timeless hits from this scene.

The film Portrait of a Land presents, through 20 wineries, the wine-producing community of the region in 40 static one-minute shots. Through image and sound, the aim of the film is to make the viewer observe, hear and experience a sense of space and time.

Music concert of the band “Swing Tales” that culminates the events and invites for dancing and partying. Stergios Koias on drums, Agamemnon Mardas on double bass, Nikos Taras on keyboards, Dimitris Tselios on saxophone and Eleftheria Bargiota on vocals. Dancers: Magda Nenou, Olina Topsioti, Giorgos Pliakis and Thodoris Bozinis
Parallel Actions
It is noted that in the framework of the five-day events of the 3rd Harvest Festival, parallel actions will take place, such as certification of wineries by a representative of the Cultural Routes of Europe of the Iter Vitis network – European Network for Wine Roads, in which the Municipality of Naoussa has been included as the first municipality in Greece, creation of documentaries about the wineries of the city, etc. while special menus will be created with xinomavro wine, in collaboration with the restaurants of the city, sweets that will be prepared with must and xinomavro wine in the patisseries of Naoussa.
During the period of the event as mentioned above (August 30 to September 3), special prices – packages will apply to hotels in the city and special prices and events in wineries for visitors that will be announced in the near future. Also every day of the event there will be a vertical tasting of Xinomavro 4 vintages at Ktima Kir-Yianni (reservation required).
* At all events, winemakers of the city will serve bottled wine with accompanying dishes of local producers for a fee, except for the Opening Ceremony (30/8) during which wine will be offered free of charge.
